Door Mirrors...
Well, I'm not a big fan of the stock door side mirrors...any pics/ideas for some new ones?

Search obs mirror swap on google images, cummins towing mirrors look good, and allow you to retain the vent windows, I've also seen super duty, duramax, and f150 mirrors on them, but you have to cover up the vent windows

Thanks for the replies. I def. want to keep the vents...I just want something that doesn't attach to the lower part of the door. Finding something that looks stock is my problem...maybe an F100 Bullnose side mirror.

Here is what came stock on my '81 F-100. I bought some new repops from LMC and they look great.
part numbers: #49-6544 & #49-6545

Yes, I'm also looking at the Black 85 mirrors. I wonder...could you get the chrome side mirrors on a F150?

Left lower pic: TYPE 5 is referred to as the Passenger Manual Type because a similar mirror was used on cars.

The three style of mirrors shown in this thread are pretty much your only option for bolt on replacements. I used to have the chrome "passenger car" style on my F150, and although I don't really like them, they look the best on these trucks in my opinion.

The "Type 5's"? Were these factory on your F150 (what year)? Tks.
