Stranded .
Well she laid down on me.
the gas gage was close to E but the dummy light had not come on yet.
as I pull out on the road she just died. I costed to the side aussing it was just out of gas. I had my uncle bring me 4 gal. took it up to 1/4 tank. but that did not do any good.
I had to have it towed.
any ideals on cause and cost for repair????

How many separate times did you crank the motor?
After running out of gas you need to cycle the key to Run several times to get the pump to charge the rails.
Check the fuel pressure with a gage.
If ok then you have some other issue.
You have to begin a process of elimination.

I tried 5 or 6 times. then I thought of what you said do I cycled the key 7 times to charge the rail thinking it may hit and start but it did not.
my guess was the fuel pump. its at my buddys shop. he is going to look at it.
but I am hoping its something cheaper.
