Just checking out the baby dipstick that so many are aware of on these newer expeditions. I removed the plug per instructions to access small plastic dipstick to check fluid level and fluid immediately began to run out.
Truck had been setting for several hours and all fluids were cold. Engine was not running. I know you are supposed to check with engine running. How can you check level when you can not remove plug without fluid leaking? Would it make that much difference in fluid level in the lower pan, not running vs running?
