Timing 390 block bored

Anyone know or have an idea what the timing should be set at on a 390 block bored .60 over? Have it set at 10 degrees right now but not sure if it is right.

The over bore wouldn't make a difference. Below courtesy of Mil1ion on 1/30/08.

In need of info is a great time to order a shop manual unless your just going to flip this truck and move to something else..

I've checked all the parts stores in town and none have a manual for my year of truck. But I haven't checked online which I should do. And I do not intend on getting rid of this truck. It's been in the family for a long time and it has more sentimental value to me then it's really worth. I'm in the process and resurrecting it but don't have a whole ton of money to throw at it just now. Just doing what littler less expensive stuff for the time being.

I've have two ford 1969 shop manuals volume 1&2 I'll sell if your interested.
Not like new tho. I got them back in the mid 90's as I could not find one for a 1971.

It also covers engine, 4wd trannys, front & rear ends, brakes, just about every thing working on plus. Plus cover some other truck models.

send me a pm

I wish my '69 manuals didn't say to refer to the '68 manual for diagnosing.

Lol, that wouldn't go over to well. The only one I have is a Chilton's and it covers 60's all the way to early 80's. So much stuff to sift through I usually use Google to find specifics. I have an old computer in my shop......
