Super Camper Special Spare Tire Panel

Well, that alternate part number comes up as too short..around 38 or so inches. Two vendors sent measurements and both were the same.
Bill, I think you are right about the moldings coming out of their packages and then getting mixed up.
Worst case scenario is that I can have my moldings re-anodized, and straighten the one on the tire cover. Still, it's usually easier, and more cost effective to locate NOS whenever possible.

This means that D3TZ-9929077-A is the correct part number with the 140" wheelbase.
MCDONALD OBSOLETE PARTS in Rockport IN has 1 = 812-359-4965. This is probably NOS
CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 10 = 800-476-9653. This could be either a repro or NOS

Ok, well, I got in touch with the folks at Dennis Carpenter, and asked them about the molding they reproduce. After having it measured, it came up short once again. So, to anyone needing this molding, the one that's currently offered will not fit a 140" wheelbase truck. Carpenter's suggested I contact Green sales, which I did, and they showed to have the molding in stock. After measuring, it did indeed measure out to the required 44"+ inches long. So now, only two more moldings to go... .spare tire compartment cover, and the stubby one in front of the RH rear wheel. If I don't manage to locate those, I'll just have the ones I have restored. Bill, thanks for all your help.
