Jolly Roger Joe posted the correct part numbers, but the wrong parts catalog pics / C700 = ZW / C800 = QHW / See below for the correct pic.

7EQ-2616 =

MILLER OBSOLETE PARTS in Binghamton NY has 1 = 607-722-53712.

NOS ONLY in San Jose CA has 1 = 800-667-6659.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 9 = 800-543-4959.
------------------------------------------------------------------
TGAA-2621-A (replaced TGAA-2621) =

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
-------------------------------------------------------
You didn't mention this, but I thought you might be interested.

7EQ-2640 Spring-Parking Brake Band Support =

KLIMESH MOTOR SALES in Calmar IA has 4 = 563-562-3241.

GREEN SALES CO. has 6.

Sorry about the wrong diagrams. But does anyone know what the clip is the original post is referring to?

All I have seen in the parts books is safety wire. Even for the correct model and year (thanks Bill).

It is possible it is only safety wire. I have only the information I got from an old ford heavy truck mechanic that was working for a dealer in 1955.

Well, I've never seen a C700 transmission, so I only "know" what I read in the parts books. Maybe someone else who's actually done this will chime in.

Anyway, good luck with your truck. I really like COEs.

The conversions weren't perfect, but I'd say I can find 90% or better by searching for the number.
I'm glad that you reminded me of that. I had done those conversions some time ago but for some reason kept using the non-searchable files. That certainly makes it much easier to find things.

Thanks
