Well, i put my top back on(got too wet) but when I was bolting it down, i realized i had enough hardware for only 3 bolts. is that enough or should i pull the top back off to be safe. BTW what else could i use to bolt it down.
BTW again, the peices that i lost are the lil pieces of metal that the bolt bolt into.
Thx
Tim
yo,
Steve, I see that a few On-Line Ford Dealers/Parts suppliers are now listing the "nut", p/n n800925-s100
$0.71
but show it as for:
"Cab - Exterior trim - Step assy - Retainer
Inner - Regular cab Step assembly 1992 - 1996 ... "
That image actually doesn't show what I was talking about. It's the clip that goes between the bolt head and the fiberglass that the screws/push rivets grab to hold the inside trim on to hide the bolt heads.
I just looked it up on the CD and the regular clips are #6 PN 29126 "Body Side Window Garnish Moulding Front Bracket" and the ones on the angle area are #10 PN 29070 "Body Side Window Garnish Moulding Bracket". I couldn't find an online source or price.
yo Steve,
I think he did mean the U nuts:
Geno - Bronco body extruded u nuts - these are the fasteners clipped to the body (inside, under the side window trim) they are called extruded u nuts or fold-over nuts - thanks to Chris B for the info! http://www.geno-inc.org/English/Products/products.html
...
from what i can see in the pictures i think its the "nut" that i lost. i have all the bolts but only 3 of the "nuts" i want like 3 more so when i do have the top on itll be nice and solid.
