The picture here is of the HId projectors on the Bronco, these are the ones I swap over to the F250 and installed the LED Bi Xenon. Dont have a pic of the Bronco with the Speakers as I haven't worked on it since SEPT. been under cover and I did not want to leave them on for fear of someone stealing them. I am going to install with Stainless Steel Security screws it make it harder to steal. The Bronco has gone under more transformation since these picture, like i said it is due to get washed and work commenced, but not until the F-250 is done.
It has 33" BFG KM2 Mudders on those old school (set of matching 5) Slotted mags. Just narrow enough to fit inside uncut rear wheel wells. I will send pic letter have to mow the lawn before it gets too hot. The build is called ANTiCON. Building it for under $25k and will do everything the $125k Icon Bronco Claims to do.

Well we all have our preferences. Me I am more about how well something works. The Leds are superior to anything else out there, but the cost although is coming down and I was able to retrofit true LEDs into that projector housing, it still isn't for everyone and or their tastes. Me I use my vehicles as do my kids if I can make it better, and I can afford it , I will do it. That's why The Bronco will be SS Braided and or hardline top to bottom and if it's grade and I can find an L9 to replace it with, I will. I like the old styling with new improvement. Like riding on Bias Ply on the street when there are bountiful radials in all genres to suit anyones habits and pocket books.
Haha yeah, I can understand why you would think that, though

Im not against better (more modern) performance/safety...but I prefer better performance/safety while keeping a retro look. I could see myself doing an HID or LED retrofit...but it would have to still look the part of an older piece....and not have that ricer blue or purple hue to it. If I did HID I would have to stick to 5000K light output. But to me, there is no way around halo's looking out of place on older vehicles.
But, with classic vehicles, there are purists, resto modders, and those looking to completely update/change the form and function of the vehicle. I think we all fall into one of those categories...and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that
I look back at what I did to some of my vehicles while I was in my teens and it makes me want to puke lol. Its funny how your taste can change as you move along through life. So I try to respect that when it comes to what people do to their vehicles.
I fall into all the categories but I was never one afraid of being a purist. If it was a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO I would be a purist, these were work trucks and family haulers so purity means nothing IMHO. If I had an alligator farm you bet I would have me some Gator skinned interior, and be-damned the vinyl. Again preference, the fact that people are actually paying $125K and more for these trucks with modern flair means 2 things. There is a market for them first, and secondly maybe less of these will go to the crusher, as people see more value in them. If anything I may start getting 75 and transforming them into 79 bodywise with pre smog numbers. maybe the only way the 76-79 dents get saved with the smog ***** always tightening things up.
Invin maybe my error. That would be L9's that a grade of bolt or nut it is a step above grade 8 plus they have bigger heads on them. Yeh and a Bowtie will never be in one of my ovals, the other way around I don't mind so much.
