96 ford f-150 starting problems
My 96 F-150 has problems starting. This is totally random. Cold/Hot doesn't matter. 25 % of the time it starts normally, 25 % of the time it will not start with out flooring the pedal ( but doing this makes it run rough and it will not idle ) and the other 50 % it will start with a little help with me slightly pumping the pedal as I turn over the engine.
So far I've replaced of checked
1) Fuel filter replaced
2) timing is ok
3) plugs replaced
4) cap and rotor replaced
The funny thing is, if I have to start it by flooring the pedal it will run rough and will not idle, but give it time and it will kick in like normal giving me a smooth ride and idle.
Could some one please give some advise.
Thanks
John
