I recently purchased a 95 f150 ext cab, 6.5 ft bed, in crazy good shape. Truck runs smooth, needs a few things as all 95's will, but all in all a wonderful truck. Downside, is just lacking in power and MPG. It only has 104k, and has never been drove hard, barely pulled or hauled. But I was thinking like an intake, true dual exhaust, maybe a chip, just little things that boost MPG while adding a little extra horsepower. I have ran the different engine cleaning gas additions through it, changed oil, new bushings on the front arms, and full shock replacement. If there are any more MPG boosting mods, or just little cheap ones that will make it drive better or whatever I would like to hear about it.
Thanks!
Which engine are we working with here? Is it MAF or SD? What mileage is it getting currently? Has the O2 sensor been replaced, or is it still the factory original? What tires and gear ratio are you running? 2WD or 4WD? We need way more information in order to provide you with any sort of useful information.

Don't go too big on the exhaust, your low RPM range will suffer causing worse gas mileage, not better. An intake might help but not as much as it costs. Don't put a chip on a gas motor that you just order from someone. If you put a chip on this, take your truck (in perfectly working order) to someone with a dyno and the ability to tune. They will put your truck on the dyno and make the appropriate changes. Again, don't buy an off-the-shelf chip for a gas motor.
Its a V8, 302 with for all i am aware origional plugs and sensors. Gets 14 combined pretty consistantly, has these small 235/75/ R 15 tires on it. i dont know the ratio but its the stock on from when built on the manufactory line
I'd suggest starting with a good tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter), bump the base timing up to ~12*, clean the MAF, and replace the O2 sensor (use either a NTK or Motorcraft sensor).
For a stock 5.0L, 14-15 MPG is well within the norm.
