Cup Holder

I have a 75 SCS regular cab bench seat and am looking for some cup holder ideas. I don't want the cheap looking Wal-Mart ones. Pics would be great too. Thanks in advance.

Auto or manual? If it's auto, some people have made some nice looking center consoles out of wood with speakers and cup holders.

I personally avoid drinking anything while I'm driving. If I can't hold it and drive at the same time, I just put it on the seat between my legs. Only made the mistake of putting something on the dash once; spilled half of a mocha down the defrost vents before I could grab it....

My 1995 had the cup holder attached to the middle front bottom edge of the seat. Check the boneyards for XL or XLT with bench seat and automatic. Has a little compartment/tray on the front edge and slips on and off over a couple of special bolts that screw into the seat. Worked perfect for me, I'd think would adapt to the older trucks. Going to try it when I get mine back.

I made this when I got tired of using a roll of duct tape.

Here's the one he's talking about. This one is in my '75. The seat is from a '93 and is super comfy with the air lumbar support feature which is great for my screwed up back. It has an arm rest that folds out of the back too. A seat swap may seem like a round about way to get a cup holder but it does have side bennies.

And then there's my redneck big gulp holder. It's the bottom of a 7.3 oil filter screwed to the floor.

A little different take on the cupholder.

I started looking for something for my 74 Bronco. I found these cooler from the 70's thru 90's there maybe be others. I have a blue and a brown GOTT NOS version of what's in the pictures and a different type that is made by Igloo in tan and Brown. They sit on your bench seat( I am going to modify so I can use a seat belt to keep it stationary). I like that it has the ability to have the cooler(mine has a freeze packtoo, or remove and you have a big tray with 2 cup \holders. Not cheap as I wanted new(NOS) so I had to pony up the $ and use Ebay.

Toms' 4x4 superstore (on Ebay).

If you don't like Gray, he has lots of other options.

Yeh I looked into the RR and the Tuffy, but I wanted something that looked period to the truck. There are all sorts out there. Just depends on what look he wants or that may not even matter, just utilitarian.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was originally thinking of the mid 90's style but wasn't sure if the mounting was the same or not. And yes I have an automatic

I think LMC has one that replaces the ash tray. Not an option for me ............I'm a smoker.
