hot motor
Ha sanyone ever heard of the rear window motor getting hot from the truck sitting in the sun enough to trip a thermal overload and prevent the window motor from operating?
twice this year on a hot day my window refused to work from either the drivers seat or keyswitch after it had been sitting with the tailgate facing the sun. After a short drive and letting the gate cool down it works just fine, no wierd noise, slow operation or anything. I do see a response in my volt gauge when this happens and I hit the switch so I know power is being provided and it's not the switches.

Update....
I parked it with the front end facing the sun today and had no problems.
is there a fix for this or am I sentenced to having my nose in the sun for the rest of my babies days?
