Brakes Grab
I have a 1985 F-150 4x4 short bed
When I put the emercency brakes on, then pull the handle to release them the brakes start grabbing. And sometimes they stay on for a while and it feels like my truck is bogging down, then sometimes after I use the emercency brakes and release them i will come to a red light or something and the brakes will grab real hard and jerks the truck. I have to use the emercency brakes because i live at the top of a hill and if i don't put them on the truck will roll off.
So if any one knows what is wrong with my truck, brakes or whatever. I would surely appreciate any help. Thanks.

You should also check the ebrake inside the drum. Sometimes they rust up and will stick to the shoe. When you install the new cables make sure you put some grease on the ebrake where it contacts the shoe.
