Has anyone used a new frame mount brake pedal...

I have the underfloor master cylinder for power brakes. I have the one from performance online that utilzes the old clutch brake pedal set up. The clutch pedal is cut off. Even with a heavy return spring my pedal seems to hang up 3/4" and keep some brake on when there shouldnt be. I have seen the universal style frame mount brake pedals for hot rods and thought this might be easier and give a more smooth operation...any thoughts or experience?

examples:

I used the Speedway Bracket made for my 56, and with a little bolt hole modifications it seems to work fine. Good luck.
