p1102= in range but lower than expected vpwr open , return circuit open, signal short to ground
is the filter housing sitting right ? OEM filter? look at the connection unplug and look inside at the pins for burnt connection. what's filter minder saying is that plugged in?
Checked the air filter housing, intake tube, and CAC for leaks, cleaned MAF sensor, all plug pin connectors are clean. Still getting P1102.
My next step is to load test the circuits from the MAF plug to the PCM plug. I did a search and found an older post where Cheezit suggested load testing with a halogen bulb to find a bad wire. If all is good with the MAF to PCM wiring, I'm guessing the PCM may have took a hit when the positive wire shorted and took out all the MAF wires in the harness with it.
Pictures are on my original post here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-repair-2.html
Strike strike strike, now it's getting personal LOL, PCM would be the only thing left or mis wire? Cheezit's the Man, I'm sure he has seen this a time or 12 good luck and keep us posted ( I tried ).

Started Thinking (Again) Have we looked at these Fuses some are under the hood and some inside fuse box
1. #4 power point
2. #12 cigar lighter
3. #20 ficm relay
4. # 36 PCM Memory
5. # 302 PCM Relay
There is a connector that is on the drivers fender well iirc its square. Check for burnt pins.
Do you mean the plugs going into the PCM? I checked all three plugs and all pins are fine. The plug closest to the firewall/cab has the MAF wires/circuits.
04BadFord, the only fuse I checked that I found relevant to the PCM/MAF was fuse 22 under the steering column. 20A fuse was fine but I replaced it anyway.
I removed tune code went away. Why now? I've been running this tune for over a year.
There you are, I don't know Im not a tune guy , Maybe you fixed the problem some how then pulled the tune and lite went away , Multi things going on , Kinda like the Inside of my Brain, are you still having Issues with the truck ?

The noted # fuses have been know to fail aswell in your case the Harness was cut so thinking things went a little further into Electrical side Short to ground. on the PCM connection that Cheezit Mentions and Picture shown you can take some Emery cloth or fine sand paper to clean the pins down deep inside the connection for better contact? worth a try
