^ Only in PA can you buy a rust bucket that the asking price is the same as a semi restored or all original truck in nice shape. These are 2 nice trucks I like the flare side one wonder just how bad the paint is from the description

"Near original condition" my ***. That truck has had a lot of cosmetic work. Very nice looking, but not worth anything near the asking price for a base model truck.

The same basic truck that has had a nice restoration is for sale in Atlanta for 14k.

I'm in Texas and always looking for these trucks and it seems all the SWB models have these beds also (which I don't care for)

1964 f100

1966 FORD F100 TRUCK

65 f100

1965 f100

1963 ford f100

Ford F100 1966 - Vintage, Restored, Classic Truck

To a newbie like me seeing all of these that have been posted in the last month would lead one to believe that any other bed is the "rare" one.

My grand dad bought a new one in 63. The flairside was cheaper than the styleside and preferred by farmers.

I agree. The truck is nicely done, but it irritates me when sellers misrepresent their stuff. There is very little about the blue styleside that is "near original condition".

It looks nice from 20' away.

1965 "very nice all original" isn't even close to being original...and no 1965 came w/a 223 I-6, last year was 1964.

IMO, all these sellers are suffering from 'Dreams of Grandeur' .. as all these trucks are vastly over priced.

9 grand for that beat up, wrong parts/missing parts 1963 F100 is ridiculous. It would be over priced at 900 bucks.

Many Flaresides were sold as 'fleet vehicles' to the US Gov't, construction, telephone and etc. companies and were driven into the ground.

Used/new car/truck dealers hated to take Flaresides in trade as they were very hard to sell, as most people wanted Stylesides.

Ran when parked = oldest lie in the old car hobby!

Do not believe miles shown on odometers, as it reads to 99999.9 then returns to ZERO!

And...do not believe a single word that sellers claim, as they lie just like used/new car dealers, lawyers, politicians and TV evangelists.

As much as a temptation it is to get one I have to pass for now. I got to finish one if the many I already have haha.

PhotoDon that's alotta flare for sale. There's usually more style sides for sale that I see here. I do want a flare side always like the looks of them. Especially in a 4x4

If y'all think these projects are overpriced stay away from the PA area they want 3-5 grand for a what you west coasters consider a parts truck.

I've always thought it would be an interesting exercise to take one of those flaresides and chop the sides of the bed down to where the rail is just above the fenders (where it belongs).

This would cure the overly tall look that the flareside beds have.

I like the tall look, especially on the 4wd"s.

Cut it done and it will look like a stepside.
