door lock cylinder replacement??
Is there any advice or videos on changing door lock cylinder on our trucks? I have never had a door key for my 69 and ordered a new set today. Not like my newer truck where clips are on door jam not inside door like ours.

no trim on mine. remove the window handle and armrest. then remove the screws for the inner panel. then if you have the paper backing, remove it. then take some pliers and pull the U clip and out pops the lock. Takes about 10 minutes on mine. Very simple. Be sure to keep the action arms off the old locks. they are usually different then the ones on the new locks but switch over.
