Changing my shock today, so far I'm on the back and sheared bottom bolt and top bolt is just spinning. Luckily on opposite sides so I got one on. Now I have the solid mount on top that I cant get bolt off cause it just spins. I tied pulling the shock to the side to get pressure on it but the exhaust was in the way. I think the po jacked me on this on by over torquing and stripping it. Anybody had this or any suggestions, If it was just a bolt I'd just cut it off but it isn't so . Also the torque spec on these are 46ft.lbs seem light to me.

Any Pics? If it's the top two bolts on the rear shocks they are just normal bolts and cagenuts. Being from MI it's probably rusted and the clip that holds the nut in place is broken so it just spins. Drill them out and get new bolts and cage nuts.
Guess I need one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-OEM-RH-UPPER-REAR-SHOCK-BRACKET-FORD-EXCURSION-F250-F350-F450-F550-SD-/360644851075?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item53f81bb583
