Well last week it sounded like there might have been a second Spring/summer GTG at Dave's place. But that chatter has grown extremely quite. I guess it was the whole idea of some clown in a 6.0L crashing the party that brought that one to a halt!
Nah. We've gotten used to that noise. He just hasn't been around much.

So, are you going to "improve it" before you re-install it in the motor? I mean, is there really such a thing as too much power in a mower???
I wish I could somehow. My fix lasted about 30mins before it blew the new gasket out again. I'm guessing that means that the mating surfaces are warped.
Gonna give it one more try with a new gasket and either some red or copper silicone. If that doesn't work the whole mower could become a coral reef.
