Vince - I am so relieved that Austin is back up on his feet. I was quite worried as I was playing catch-up with the posts.
How's it going guys? I'm finally beginning to get back up to speed after being down with a bug that got my lungs all gummed up and ticked off. The wife has been laying some hints that she really wants to go camping this year so I picked up the welder this afternoon and gave it another shot...
Am I getting the hang of this?

Larry great to see ya and chat it up, your 39 is awesome looking! Once I got home of course the hillbilly rig had cooled down enough to start right up.
Maybe the next Bolivar one or the Collins show I will drag it or the bronco up that way.
Once again great to see a fellow FTE member that is so close.

It was really nice to see you and to meet Penny. She is a very lovely lady and better yet she is a car gal!! Thanks for the compliment on the 39. I am pretty proud of it. I am glad you were able to show up. It is a very nice family friendly event with cars coming and going. There was about twice as many cars last month. I am guessing lots of guys are cleaning their cars up for the street rod nationals in Spfd. starting Thursday and all weekend. They didn't want to get them out and dirty coming up here.

Evening All!
We just got back from the Cruisin' USA cruise in in Nixa. There were some really cool cars there. We took Alice and parked next to a very nice black bump. I talked to a guy that loves dents and told him to swing by here if he gets a chance. So I guess we see if he shows up.
I got the fuel fillers done on Bandit and the Jeep is back and prepped so I can blend the tail gate on it. I should be able to spray that first thing in the morning and have it back to the owner by the afternoon. ...We'll see.

Good Morning Everybody!
I've already been to the shop and sprayed the Jeep. I figured I just better get out of there before I fling something across the shop and it sticks to the new paint.
I came home and started some laundry and got the front and side yard cut. Now I have to do the back yard.
When I go back, I'm gonna build the front drive shaft for Bandit. That SHOULD BE the last part I have to make. From here on out, it's just some wiring, and maintenance. It should be ready to go to the Jamboree if I get the harness in time.

Thanks you-all, I got the Zeroturn running, took it around the yard, engaged the deck and now have the deck all apart for a new sheave, spindle and bearings. I should have less in it than a new push mower. Now off to clean the shop and then drink by the pool ...woot. Some time with Patty, just relaxing.

I decided to go ahead and start fabbing up the outer frame for the first floor panel in the camper this afternoon. The welds are a mix of pretty good to so-so quality so I'm satisfied with them. I did remember to just tack it together and test fit it in the camper before final welding so of course it fit right the first time. It needs some more TLC, but I'm finally moving forward on that project.
What I've learned so far...
1. Flappy wheels rule for cleaning up welds.
2. A band saw would make cutting angles so much easier.
3. Taking the time to keep the contact tip clean is worth it.
4. Patience, patience, patience
