Good morning everybody! Working on my second mug of coffee here.
We're working on vacation plans here this week. Looks like we're going to
Gatlinburg Tennessee for a week. We had a week planned out, but a friend that is watching Rocky also has plans that week. So now it's a reschedule.
Hope y'alll are doing well.

Unk Bob

I'm glad to see y'all are making some progress on stuff because I'm sure not. In my opinion this week should be filed under FUBAR. I set some simple goals to accomplish this week and, despite a tremendous amount of effort, not one of them has panned out.

It looks like I'm going to have to show the Durango some love soon - I think the ball joints have seen better days. Unfortunately the uppers can't be replaced without replacing the entire control arm - so that means a trip to the alignment shop when I'm done. I'll be online later tonight pricing parts and making decisions...

Well long AM of concrete dragging and them on to the Bronco roll cage frame tie in this afternoon. Also got the bumper brackets/frame drilled and thru 2 1/2 x 2 1/2-1/8" square tubing twice.

Also got the center roll cage center legs bolted with grade 8 bolts x3 to the frame brackets. I will weld them to the frame tomorrow with the x bro inlaws 220 stick welder......

Evening All!

Wow! What a day! We got an '06 F150 that was totaled. The rear axle was snapped in two, the r/r quarter panel was folded under making the tail gate unable to open, the front bumper and filler were destroyed and one of the headlights was busted out and hanging.

I was really making some headway but around 1600 I got a call that my blonde middle child needed a ride to urgent care. I dropped everything and raced home. She was clowning around with her friends and managed to tear a tendon and sprain her ankle.

So now at 2100, I'm back at the car lot finishing up the paint work on the Ford so I can do the final assembly tomorrow morning like I was planning on.

.......Oh, by the way. ....I seem to have bought another Ford. It's an old farm truck, but has all the right pieces. It's an '80-something F250 4x4, 460 5 speed with a 8' box and already has a gooseneck hitch in it.

That makes 5 trucks in the stable. This is a sickness that's getting out of hand, but once again, I got a screamin' deal. I paid $700 for it. ....did I mention it has a Demon carburetor and Weiand intake on it? That's $700 worth of induction and I got a truck for free with it.

Dave, it's not much of a project. I can jump in it and drive it right now. It just needs some front end work, some tail light wiring and some paint. It's really not bad at all. It's two toned black and silver with a red interior. It's more dirty than anything. ....well, the paint is hammered, too.

I'll get a couple pictures of it tomorrow.

Good Morning Everybody.

The humidity made some awful dry spots in my paint last night. I hope the trim covers most of them. I better get back to reassembling this thing.

Jeff. I'm at the car lot today and immediately afterwards, we're going camping for the weekend and I won't be around at all for a couple days. Tiff says I need a break.

Alan, I hope you can learn how to relax this weekend. I'm out to make sales calls today. Ready for a day away from the phones. Have a great day everybody and great weekend Fenstermaker household.
