I used the high idle quite a bit. Its good for when you are idling a lot since the 6.0 diesel washes the cylinders and dilutes the oil at extended idles.
thats the main reason i wanted it for... that and i plan to eventually either have a car hauler with a winch or a winch on the truck itself.. can use the HIM to keep the batt charged despite the winch drawl... supposedly you can use it in the summer for the peak AC performance at idle...

yeah at idle your compressors running between 50-75% of its optimal output.. since its designed to be outputting its optimum at speed.. so the high idle mod pushed that compressor into where its normal optimal output.. when your going down the highway its running more around 95-98%.. course thats all when its in perfect operating condition... lol
