Just wanted to ask my buds here to please pray for my mom. She's in pretty good shape for 69 yrs old. We are at the hospital today and tomorrow. She has a blocked carotid artery and they are going to do surgery tomorrow. Of course they give a slight risk of stroke from the procedure so that makes me nervous. So anyway, thanks in advance guys.

 

No problem, Wayne. Prayers on the way. My Mom had a motto hanging on the kitchen wall that read, "Why worry when you can pray?". So may you have peace and comfort.

Thanks to all who have posted and prayed. I just got home. Surgery for mid morning tomorrow then one more night stay.

Prayers to your mom and family. My father in law(80) had a valve replacement last Friday his recovery has been slow, but he did have his heart pulled out and chopped on. It's amazing what doctors can do.
