wont start
I have a 2003 ford aerovan. Few months back van was dead. Just cli cks or nothing at all battery Said 2003. Bought new battery it started shut off car and tryed again nothing turning but not starting. Have alarm on van. Am single mom trying to get some idea of what im dealing with. Please.4/27/14.

sounds like you have a bad alternator, and its not recharging the battery upon starting the vehicle, I don't know if you have like an autozone near you but they can test it free, I think a new one is right around 150.00

Thank you for answering. Your the only one who answered. Leave it to a blonde, its not a aerovan.its a2003 windstar van.. in begining my dashlights would flicker or lights in van would. I have alarm on car sometimes doors wouldent lock or unlock. Heat and air wouldent work loud clicking no heat at all. Around christmas just a slow dragging start then just clicking. Checked battery said 2003 .so went n got new battery started right up shut off tryed again just just was like no gas starting but plenty of gas. And it will start then it wont... my son made sure battery cables tight. Im paying car insurance on a car i cant drive since christmas so i thank u for taking time to answer. Alycia cleveland.
