and i own 4 fords
, well to the problem:I have a 1989 Lincoln Continental and just put a new battery and a new alternator in it, and the thing will never start up unless i charge it, then the battery gauge flashes saying that my battery has to much power in it, after i charge the battery and start it then turn it off, i can start it back up for like 2 minutes then it will be dead again...
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You should put a meter on it between the neg terminal, and the lead for it (disconnect the lead from the post).
If you see a large voltage drain, start pulling fuses to isolate what circuit is causing the drain.
At that point, follow the wiring diagram.
I have seen cigarette lighters and in-dash clocks (old style) do this before...
