Other then the bellhousing bolt it should just slide apart at the trans. I've never pulled the whole tube just the dipstick itself back about a foot or so
We'll that was fun, not to long to do. It's funny, use to drop trans and pull motors weekly, now that I don't do it that often, the confidence level is much lower. I guess it might be because the stakes are higher. Who knows.
Trans is sitting a floor jack and trans jack. Torque convertor is stripped on the small diameter spline. Torque convertor brand was precision, apparently Brian no longer uses them for this reason. He has something coming that he said I would be much happier with.
1st, I was happy until this one broke
2nd, I absolutely trust whatever he sends will be an upgrade.
I am little bummed however. Not sure why, I don't think I have exceeded the three years, but I am paying shipping. Hope to see it before Saturday.
My guess Mike, his trans is warrantied for three years, shipping covered, but the torque convertor isn't "his", so the warranty may be different. Hey, so long as I bring it back on line I guess.
