Need help finding thread.

I have tried to no avail using the search feature on the site to find what I'm looking for, but I can't seem to locate anything.

I recall reading a thread some time ago where a guy had made a custom radio bezel from metal, either stainless steel or aluminum. He modified the dash in the same way. I almost think he made custom shift ***** as well, perhaps they were made from aluminum?

If anyone recalls the thread I am talking about, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Is this it? Unfortunately the ebay link is dead, but the guy seems to still be on ebay. Maybe you could ask him if he can still get them.

I have some scrap aluminum. I could whip you up a shift ****. Need to road test the lathe anyway.

The gentleman that made the metal bezel for his radio made a one-off as I recall. I don't think he offered anything on ebay.

Thanks for the offer. I don't currently have a truck, but I am trying to get ideas for when I do.
