Does anyone have good source for y Block oil pump gaskets? I need the gasket between the block and pump body, the gasket between the side of the oil pan and the pick up tube, and the compression gasket that goes on the end of the pick up tube where it enters the oil pump. The pump itself is working fine so I really dont want to buy a rebuild kit just to replace these gaskets.

Thanks Hiball. Looking at the photo, it looks like there are two round washers for the pan, the rest go with the oil pump (Im assuming). So looking at the two round washers on the left, one must be for the drain plug and the other one must be the fiber washer that goes on the "outside" of the oil pan where the pick up tube exits. I had read a post that talked about a copper (or brass) washer that fit on the "inside" of the oil pick up tube where it enters the oil pan.

Mine did not have a copper washer on the inside, just the fiber washer on the outside.

Is that what you have experienced as well?

 

The Y block I put together last year for my 57 Ranchero had the copper washer for the inside in the gasket set. I don't recall others from years past with a fiber one on the outside.
