Has anyone seen a place to buy a diamond plate bed rail protector for a step side? I'm thinking any make would probably fit even the GM with the flat top.. I've been searching the net and have come up with nothing.
Surprised member(s) have not made any derogatory comments about referring to the Ford 'flareside' to a bow-tie 'stepside'.
Occasionally receive catalog from Sacramento Vintage Ford, who carry a number of dress up (?) type kits for vintage trucks. By the description don't have a clue it the link below is anything close to what you are looking for. If so, I would call for clarification and shipping cost, not sure what an additional $7.50 means?? Suggest going to local region forum and see if member's in your area have come across local source for the item your seeking.
the reason I used stepside is because I think any brand would probably be the same as they all seem to have that rolled top.
I was thinking of putting chrome tie downs on the side of the bed, and if you use them over the top it will beat on the paint. That and just stepping over the side would scratch it. Would be nice to protect it with something that looks good.
