New Econoline Owner Needs Help
1988 Econoline conversion van 351 fuel injected chokes out (dies) when it warms up. When it's cold & running the exhaust smells like raw fuel. The inside of the exhaust pipe is totally carboned, but doesn't really blow black smoke.

Any suggestions of what we should try?

New Econoline Owner Needs Help
The first thing I would do is pull the codes. It sounds like you have leaking injectors or you are really starving for air.
