1983 ford ranger

thank you the diagram was right my little ranger is up and running great the fellows was talking about a click in his engine that same thing happen to me a little piece of carbon got under my value and made lifter tick washed out with air and tramissiom oil remove plug and blowed air with a little oil has not been ticking since thanks for your help
