miss firing problem

The engine starts and runs fine but then as the engine gets more and more warmed up it starts to miss fire more and more. what might be the problem. Thanks.

Hi,

Since this is a heat related problem the first thing that comes to mind is the coil. It sounds like it is breaking down under heat.

miss firing problem

I got an accel super stock in yellow from advanced for $35-$40. Some say that these are only slightly better than stock, but for that price, and I have opened my autolite platniums to .55, I say go for it. Also, check your points. I have pertronix ignitor, so i dont have to worry about those.
