pretty good $30 score, Digital Radio Bezel and Hood Light
Tested the light, it works, but I need to know what bulb fits in it.
It looks like a typical brake light bulb, but it has two post where one is positive and the other is the ground with 1 filament. any Ideas?
A brake light bulb is too tall to fit inside the crystal.
The Bezel is a XLT Ranger, Cool, never seen one.
Radio and the wire harness on the back.

There's a mercury switch that is supposed to turn it out just before the hood closes and turns it out as the hood opens. But I've never gone under with the hood closed to find out if mine works.

Yep. Those are physically the same but just have different "wood". However, the Rosewood radio bezel's opening is higher but narrower than DIN, so doesn't work well for a DIN radio.
Another option is to find the base or Custom level trim and do away with the wood look. I'm thinking about it, but dunno yet.

That's an acronym for a set of standards. IIRC the DIN standards started in Germany many years ago and spread to most of Europe and then elsewhere. It defines things like electrical connections, radio sizes, and many other things. Similar to our IEEE standards but broader.
In the case of radios it is 50mm x 180mm. Or, double-DIN is 100 x 180.

For some reason mine didn't work when I first got the truck; then after a few days began switching on, & has been fine since.
I guess it was the mercury switch, but there's not much that could go wrong
