Ok I got a question, when my 7.3 sits for more than about 2 hrs I have to hold down the gas peddle when I start it so it gets fuel to fire. The longer it has sat the more cranking it takes and I have to pump the peddle a few times. Is this because my lines are leaking or is air getting in or something like that? Thanks for any input.
you answered your own question it starts right up when plugged in over night....why would the fuel not drain away from the ip when plugged in....it is a bad gp controller, some times they go bad as to only heat the plugs, for about 3-4 seconds each time you turn the key off and back on...so try and turn the key on and off 5 times, then crank it. if it starts right up it is the controller. and or if it allways starts when pluged in...the WTS light may only blink on also if the controller is bad or if more then one gp is bad.
Sweet ill test out the glow plug controller and if that's it I'm gonna hook up a Manual one. Wanted to do that anyway! All my glow plugs are good I checked them already...
