LN700 Electrical

hey guys/gals... I have a question, I just purchased electrical schematics for the 1970 and 1974 "Haul" and "Delivery" trucks. Can anyone tell me what the Dump Truck would be considered? I am thinking "haul".

The guy who owned this truck has RUINED the wiring, it is a complete mess. He cut the factory harness to put in an after market blinker relay instead of crimping 2 male and female ends on some wire and plugging the new relay in. Then he ran the wire directly to the front blinkers and severd the right front headlight wiring. Then ran a 25 foot ribbon cable (4 color) to the rear and bypassed all the circuits. When you turn on the headlights ALL the lights come on but you have absolutely NO blinkers OR Brake lights...

I also purchased a 1984 L-Series service manual, 1970 and 1974 service manual on DVD/CD. As you can see I am trying to get this fixed correctly.... if you know what/or how the LN700 electrical schematic is called (haul or delivery) I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks!

PS... what a way to spend Easter...

A dump truck would have been sold new as a Chassis & Cab, with the dump bed added after the fact.

Thanks NumberDummy, I am currently reviewing the '74 schematic and looking at buying a Power Probe Master Kit (PPKIT03) off of ebay. I need something to help me trace these wires. It appears that I will have to redo the wiring harness. Another project I was not prepared for...

Thanks!
