66 speedo question?

66 speedo question?
If I'm not mistaking doesn't the 66 supposed to have the new speedo ( long one) my 66 cab has the round speedo it is a 4x4 don't know if that makes a difference?

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

So if I'm reading your reply correctly my 66 has the correct round speedo?
Its just not a custom cab/ranger

I have a 66 f100 4x4 custom cab and it has the sweep speedo if that helps.

And 66 F250 4x4 Custom Cabs definitely had round speedo.

Wasn't sure I know that my 66 is part Frankenstein but knew the dash looked original.

Four wheel drives received the round speedometer. And depending if the truck was gussied up at the dealer it may have a round speed o with a CC package.

Yep, ND states the common but as Garbz makes reference to, back than, Ford would build it pretty much the way you wanted it. Oooooo, the good old days. Any color you wanted even if were a chev color, ;o(... O YES, the good old days.

how to post pics to thread?
I decoded the vin on my 66 and it looks like the cab is original or at least the fuel tank and door jams are correct color, looks like drivers door is not correct but they swapped the warranty tag thankfully, i really want to post pics of both my trucks but I'm new to this site and dont have a clue on how to get them from my phone to my thread! If any techno folks out there want to help this dumb kid out and explain it to me very slowly I'd be very thankful!
