Hey fellas I got a buddy that's got an old crown Vic he got from an auction was thinking about getting it from him for the front clip engine and tranny to put on my 54 f-100. Has anyone else attempted this? My brother took the front clip off of a tbird and welded the frames but I need some thoughts maybe pros cons on the crown Vic idea
Bama - you may want to do an Advanced Search on this forum. CVs have been donors - I'm not at all familiar with the technical elements. The search feature menu is on the right side of the blue bar running across the page. Good Luck.
What year CV? 2003 and up front cradle will be mainly a bolt in. Earlier models will need to be grafted on your frame.
Engine and Trans will need the CV wiring harness and ECM. Lots of work but cheap OBTW Take the rear end (could be disc brakes and limited slip) and drive shaft while your at it.
Yea it's the complete car I believe early 2000s he has taken the body off already was going to use it for one of his builds still has engine tranny wire harness everything I need but was just curious if any of you fellas have tried wanted to hear a few of your war stories haha
