What is it you are looking to have done? There are several of us in the area who would be willing to lend you a hand and help you save some money.

I wasn't really trying to sell her tuning. Although, I'm available to help with that as the need arises. I was just trying to be helpful. Depending on what needs to be done, plenty of us are able to do it and help save a ton of money. Heck, think about how much I've saved you over the years.

Lets see, Clay started as a regular member here on the forum before he started his business, Riffraff Diesel.
Pete's Automotive Repair & Sales.
It has a nice ring to it.
I have the tools...you have the back and knees. We can be partners, LOL!

Especially the sales. I have way too many hanging around right now.
Heck, I even have the tools. What I need is a partner with capital.

Eh, I dunno. If we partnered up, I don't see us turning away any Volvo's or Ford Modular engines.
We can have a small side lot next to the garage.
Yeah, but I have more!
I have 5 bucks and a great credit score......

Thanks guys! While I am looking for a tuner, I'm also just looking for an overall mechanic for my regular maintenance. Someone I can trust. Sadly, I just lost my beloved little Miata because I trusted it to the wrong person. Since I'm too broke to get a Miata engine rebuilt, I'm going to try the best I can to avoid any major break downs in a big, expensive diesel truck. I'm a decent basic mechanic on gas engines, but I would like to learn diesel, I know nothing!

Natalie,
I'd love to help you out. I do work on Powerstrokes. I also happen to be a Miata owner and know those pretty well too. What happened to yours?

Ha Ha....Pete works on powerstrokes is an understatement....He is a mad genius when it comes to these engines.

Long story short, a friend of mine rebuilt the engine for me and did something wrong. It developed rod knock after less then a thousand miles. It's been parked for six months now, trying to sell it. I loved that car! We've been through some good times together. I bet it's the only Miata out there that's been off roading in a horse pasture, through a creek, and had hay bucked off the back.

Funny about bucking hay.
Years back I had an Astro van that I could fit 8 bales in and the only thing missing was Dueling banjo`s cranked up as I drove through town.
Had a qtr horse and an Arabian. What do you have?
