Aux. idle control headache

Nothing changes when I press any button, everything lights up with the key key switch then just the power red led is lit.

Then something it not letting it think it is in park and or parking brake is on. I think with auto you still have to set brake. If all lights come on at start that tells me it should be ok as far as the unit.
