Why am i being told to stay away from the 2011 by so many? Im assuming like all Fords diesels, its the first year of the motor and they had kinks to work out? Im trading up to a 6.7 to a 6.0 soon. just wondering. Thanks
bought my 2011 back in May of 2010....first one to order at my dealer. Been a great truck, still love it and has 115,000 kms on it. Couldn't be happier.
As the owner of a 6.0, 6.4 and now three 6.7s, I can tell you that I had more problems in one week with the 6.4 than I have had with my three 6.7s in four years. I would give the 6.0 a two week ratio....
Agree with Sgt93 though, do a little research and you will get an idea if the '11 6.7 is the way to go because you will hear the pros and cons.
The only major issue with my 2011 was transmission problems and Ford eventually figured out most of those issues.
I still have some but at least it's drivable. The engine has been issue free. May 2010 build.
I got my ordered 6.7 March 2011 ? . 18k of trouble free towing miles and occasional use , Just love this truck coming from a "07 - 6.0".
Now were ready for the new camping season , woohoo
Agree with other posters here on FTE, mine was built 12/16/2010 an bought: 3/31/2011, have 56,000 miles and have had no issues with engine or transmission. Still loving it.
Have had 3 - 2011 F350's. The current one I have was built end of 2010, bought Jan 15th, 2011. Have 27k miles. Minor issues as well. MUCH MUCH better than my 2 - 6.Ohhs were. These actually stayed in my driveway and not the service bay.
