missing section
Trying to diagnose a dtc u1262 and i seem to be missing section 4 of the bible, funny its the only section I'm missing and thats what i need right now and i loaned out my software version. If any of y'all could send me one i would really appreciate it

SCP (J1850) Communication Bus Fault
U series DTC's I believe are communication errors between different systems. Such as between the IDM and the PCM(Don't quote me, I'm not 100%). If the "Bible" you are referring to is the Powertrain/Emissions manual, you won't find it in there as it's not related to the powertrain.

Ok, i did find some info in the PC/EC manual that talks about SCP errors being caused by connection problems with the scan tool. Could be a problem with the PCM, the DLC, the scan tool, or operator error.

Thanks Tugly, i will go out and start checking the wires on the connector to see what matches up, and hopefully find whats throwing that code, truck runs great but i don't like dtc's,
thanks for the input greg i have the pt/ec section of the bible and was under the impression section 4-13 would give me more of a diagnostic procedure for the hybrid instrument cluster which is what AE is telling me it is
