2.5 question
I have the 2.5 liter dual plug 4 cyl in My '01 Ranger, and had a couple questions about it: What is the purpose for 2 plugs per cyl, is it fpr better efficiency? And how hard are the spark plugs to change, looks like a real butt pain

I can't help with the difficulty part of the question, but you're right about the efficiency part. Two plugs make for more complete combustion and reduces the need for timing advance by reducing the distance the the flame front must travel in the combustion chamber. Because of that, it also reduces octane requirements.
