Man that is on the other side of the state from me. Sure would be a fun road trip, especially if I could take back roads.

They had a great one a few years ago. The old Ford Truck World gang had a huge party at the Sandfers in Knoxville.

I'm about a 100 miles west of you! I'm spending a week in the Smokies in June.

Gee whiz, too far to drive? In 2008, I flew from LAX to Charlotte, rented a car and drove towards Asheville, picked up the Blue Ridge Parkway to Cherokee.

Then continued on back roads to Chattanooga, visited Chickamauga & Lookout Mt. battlefields, then on to Knoxville

What you 'easterners' consider a long drive, we westerners consider a short hop.

You would probably have something to say about us complaining that gas is $3.50/gallon.

Bill; I got a kick out of your comments about distance; and yes each year everything is a cost concern verse's benefit.
I'll spend this year as my last year as a swap vendor; then start only having a truck in the show. Not a trailer queen attraction though.
This year be there Wednesday thru Saturday afternoon.
