I've seen it said many times that the seats will not interchange. Maybe there is a difference going from buckets to bench and vice versa but I can confirm that bench to bench is 100% perfect fit, at least for my year.
Both cabs are a 90. I just bolted a RC bench seat into my new SC that also came with a bench originally.
Anybody know which bench seats and from what years will fit the back of a 92 super cab? Also when switching from fold ups to bench how you mount a middle seat belt?
Sorry damarble, not trying to hijack your thread just figured it'd be better to ask here than to make a whole new topic on the subject.

When I cleaned and refit the bench seat I traded for my buckets I grabbed a set of bench mounts from a Bronco because the guy I traded with had a Bronco. The bench came from an OBS regular cab. When I went to swap them I noticed the mounts look exactly the same. I never checked to see if they were, but from the looks of them they looked like the same parts.

You need a rear bench from an extended cab truck. As for the seatbelts, there should be mounting points for them already in the cab. They will be threaded holes the are reinforced. You'll just need the belts and the mounting hardware.
Ok so the 40/60 bench in my 97 f150 is pretty done after 172,760+ miles (can't remember the exact mileage off the top of my head) there's no comfort in the seat anymore so I'm looking to replace it. My problem is that I'm having a hard time finding a replacement seat out of another 10th gen truck around me, I know where there's a really nice 40/20/40 seat from a 9th gen extended cab but I don't know if it will fit. Does anyone know if the floor pans are similar enough for these to fit and how different the mounting points are? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
