Super Moose Pump...
Anybody got any details??
I have a few...
But interested in what everybody else knows.......
EDIT: This isn't a bashing thread.... Purely for tech reasons.........

I actually FB messaged you about it Patrick.
All our pumps are tested between 3 or so different calibration specs when they are calibrated. I rate my pumps at the toughest, which is the 6.9 spec.... .078" lines, .5mm Orifice plate, and 1700 Pop. The 7.3 N/A and IDIT have slightly less restrictive test settings, because they are going on bigger engines, however, the factory lines and injector specs remain the same on those engines. I asked what test specs Mel ran this pump at, that they looked like they were modified test specs based on the fueling curve (Stock like, just higher), and he came back and admitted that they were modified:
Mel Agne "Hi guys. Someone asked me to pop in here. I really don't spend much time on Facebook, so these threads tend to go unnoticed. Looking back, I see questions about the bench setup. No, we are not running the pump against stock IDI injector specs. We are running the pump against similarly sized specs for this rate of fueling, as is customary on other pumps that size. There is no point in trying to put your head underwater and breath through a straw. We see this as a solution to a problem, and are solving it in our own way. Comparing our pump and specs to R&D's is not necessary in my opinion. It's like comparing Microsoft and Apple. Numbers mean little, it is the satisfaction that people get from owning their choice which is important. We developed this pump because our customers asked us to. It was something we started last August, and has been an idea since before I bought the company. Time and funds for development are always tight when you are running a business, and trying to keep many things in the air. It's my hope that our solution satisfies the demand for some customers. Who has the most RWHP is not important to me. What is important, is that the people who have our products are happy, and that we are here long term to support them. I won't be here regularly to participate in a debate, but hope that you all continue to pursue whatever it is that you enjoy."
He then spouted a bunch of gibberish because he knew he got called out (That or he doesn't understand how the test calibration settings work). He uncorked the test injectors to make his readings look higher than they are, a common practice done by many aftermarket performance pump builders.
The fact is, nobody will know what the super moose puts out until he runs it with stock calibration test settings, that's the only way to know what the pump is doing in comparison to the engine as tested.... His 205cc is not equal to 205cc put out by a pump measured at stock specs.
