"The criteria Movoto used to unearth boring towns was the same used to find exciting places in America. They haven’t done a most-exciting list just for California cities yet, but they did do one for the most exciting suburban towns in America, and Lakewoodies will be pleased to know that Lakewood was the No. 6 most exciting suburb in the country — until they realize the exciting Lakewood is the one in Ohio."

Lakewood leads the state as Yawnsville, Movoto.com says

All future G2G sites:

10th-boringest: Lancaster, West Covina, Victorville, Merced, Alhambra, Ontario, Modesto, Hesperia and Carson.

We can start with Lakewood, psst, gotta donut shop in town?

Can't believe Hinkley didn't pass muster.

Have to get that on the calendar well in advance, because the drive will be a lengthy one.

Last I read, the giant Lakewood (CA) donut was going to be saved. The Lakewoodies were all up in arms about its planned demise.

We don't have anything nearly that exciting going on around here. The great donut sign hubub belongs to Long Beach.

Ha, Twentynine Palms make Victorville look like New York. This place isn't sleepy, its unconscious.
