I just bought this truck 1997 Ranger Splash Ext Cab with the 4.0L engine and the power package. The remote was working, and now nada..
I cannot even get the system to reset by turning the key back and forth. The guys at Ford were not much help either. Any ideas where the unit is located, how to remove and repair or replace.
