Remote brake master cylinder resevoir

I am planning to install a seperate resevoir on my fire wall so I don't have to deal with the mess of the fill cap under the floor. With muddy roads it's always filthy under there and my floorboards too. Just did a search, but have some questions . I once bought a '53 dodge and under the seat was a vintage conversion setup with a special glass bottle and a replacement threaded cap for it's MC. All in the original box with instructions, so I know it's do-able. I'd like to thread my cap, as I just rebuilt the master and don't want to take it apart again for threading. I plan to use an O ring to seal the cap and will plug the tiny vent hole. I bought copper for the line, but now I think rubber/vinyl would be a lot easier. So my question is will a neoprene O ring resist brake fluid? And what type of hose/tubing can I use? Clear vinyl would be nice, but need to know what type of hose is safe to use with dot3 brake fluid. Thanks in advance for any help. Not sure what the resevoir will be at this time. Maybe an old time glass drip oiler from a one lunger engine. I have a few extra.......
