C53 axle code
Hi all, I just picked up an 86 f-50 and noticed it had an odd rear axle. the door code says C53. it looks like it has an air powered locking dif, no compressor under the hood tho. I searched the forum and the web and cant find anything.

rear axle The first two digits of the AXLE code refer to the rear axle (C5), the 3rd digit refers to the front axle (3).
