motor swap
Ok guys heres what im dealing with. I need some helpful advice knowledge. I have a 1997 f150 with the 4.6 windsor the motor is blown. I have found a 4.6 out of a 95 Lincoln. I need to know if that motor will work in my truck? I know I need to change the oil pan and pick up tube and the intake. Anything else?? The guy selling the lincoln engine said the 8th digit of vin code was an x for the engine. Everything ive read tells me the 8th digit should be a 6 if its a widsor. I need to know as soon as possible. Thanks so much guys. My trucks been sitting for a month I need help
